It offers a variety of seating options, and can be converted into triple strollers by adding the glider board. (second seat and the car seat are sold separately). The stroller is a quarter of a pound lighter and weighs a little less than the previous models. It comes with a range of accessories that include a bellybar (included in the Eco Collection version), a second seat as well as a console for parents and an armband.
The large storage basket can accommodate a lot of gear. They also appreciated how easily reclined the seats and how there was plenty of legroom for both kids. The brake pedal is easy to access and can be operated with one hand. While the stroller is a little larger and more difficult to maneuver, it is worth the extra space for parents who appreciate roomy strollers.
Another feature we love is that the City Select 2 is compatible with Baby Jogger, Britax, Graco, Chicco and Maxi-Cosi infant car seats (adapters are available separately). This means that you can utilize a single or double stroller from birth to well past toddlerhood.
The stroller might not be inexpensive but it is likely to be the only one you ever need. If you are able to afford it, then it's worth the cost. This is especially true when you consider the quality and durability of the build. The design is stunning and the fabric connections are strong without looking rough. Delta Children LX Side-by-Side
If you're looking for a double travel stroller that's easy to carry and fits in tight places such as a tight space, the Delta Children LX Side by Side is a good choice. This stroller is 20 lbs in weight and can accommodate children as heavy as 50 pounds each. The large canopy offers protection from rain, wind and sun. The seats also recline to ensure the children with a comfortable ride. The stroller is a bit shorter than others in our tests and can be opened to a 29-inch width that allows it to fit in the standard doorways of 30 inches.
This stroller earned an unsatisfactory score for user-friendliness in our test, but that's partly because it's so bare-bones there are no storage bins or a deep recline in the seats, and the only cup holder is a tiny plastic container on the handlebars. It does have a 5-point harness with double-rethread buckles, which are more comfortable to adjust than the single-rethread buckles found on most other strollers.
During our tests, we examined how easy it was to turn around, fold, and move the strollers. Travel strollers often have limited space in the trunk of a car, so folding and unfolding is a must. Products that fold easily and with a few simple steps, and those with automatic locks scored higher. Strollers that stand upright when folded and can be folded with one hand also received high scores.
The UPPAbaby G-Link 2 was the most easy to turn and push. The Mountain Buggy Nano took a bit more effort, but performed well in our tests. The new Delta Children LX side by side is extremely light and has a a folding framework that's almost smaller than some of the best umbrella strollers. Its bare-bones design and wallet-friendly cost make it a desirable choice for parents seeking a travel stroller that's easy to carry, lift, and store.
